Your biometrics, with the maths shown.
Biomon turns your Apple Health data into recovery, sleep and cardiovascular signals — and shows you exactly how each number was produced.
Requires an iPhone running iOS 17 or later. An Apple Watch is strongly recommended — Biomon is built on HRV, sleep and overnight readings, and without a watch (or another device writing them to Apple Health) most of it will have nothing to work from.
Why it exists
Most recovery apps hand you a single score out of 100. You are told you are 64% recovered, with no way to know what moved, why, or what to do about it.
The problem with that isn't that it's too simple. It's that a number you don't understand can't be acted on. There's no lever attached to it. So the app becomes something you glance at rather than something you use, and nothing about your week actually changes.
The enemy isn't complexity — it's unexplained complexity. Once you understand what a signal means, you want more of it, not less, because now you know what to do with it. That's the whole design: explain the signal, and the depth becomes something you can act on.
So Biomon keeps distinct things distinct rather than blending them into one figure that hides what changed. Recovery and Battery stay separate numbers because they answer different questions. Stress is never folded into Battery. Sleep timing isn't mixed with sleep duration. And every one of them tells you the method behind it, with a plain explanation a tap away.
What it shows
Recoveryi
Your 7-day HRV average against your own 30-day baseline, using the smallest-worthwhile-change method from sports science.
Batteryi
How your day is actually going, through the day — built from heart-rate zones and above-baseline HRV, respiratory rate and blood oxygen.
Sleep debti
Hours short against your own target across the past week, and how much you have genuinely clawed back. Two good nights rarely clear a deficit, and the arithmetic says so.
Sleep regularity
Night-to-night consistency of your sleep timing, per Phillips et al. 2017, plus a real Deep/Core/REM/Awake breakdown.
Vitalsi
HRV, resting heart rate, respiratory rate and blood oxygen, each banded against your own typical range rather than a population average.
Cardiovascular signali
Your VO2 Max, its real trend, and the two levers that actually move it.
Built on your own baselines
Nothing is scored against a population average. “Typical” means typical for you, learned from your own history.
That has an honest consequence: Biomon is not very useful on day one. Your 30-day HRV baselinei, sleep-regularity trend and intake trends do not exist yet. It becomes useful over several weeks, which is why the free trial is a month rather than a few days.
Understanding comes first
This isn't a glossary bolted on the side — it's the part that makes the rest usable. Short, plain explanations of each signal: what it is, what moves it, and what you can actually do about it. No jargon, no hype, and honest about what the measurements can't tell you. See all topics.
What is HRV?
The most useful recovery signal a watch can measure — and why your number means nothing next to someone else's.
What is sleep debt?
Why two good nights rarely undo one bad week.
What is VO2 Max?
The number most tied to long-term health — and one of the few you can genuinely move.
Conditions →
Blood pressure, gout, FODMAP & IBS — what each one is, what genuinely helps, and when to see a doctor instead.
Your data stays on your iPhone
There is no server. Biomon reads from Apple Health, computes everything on your device, and keeps it there. Nothing is uploaded, sold, shared, or used for advertising.
That is not a policy choice that could quietly change — it is how the app is built. There is nowhere for the data to go. The app contains no networking code beyond Apple's own StoreKit and iCloud frameworks.
Home Screen and Apple Watch
Battery and Hydration widgets in daily and weekly views, plus rectangular and circular complications for your watch face — and a small watch app for logging water straight from your wrist. Widgets carry a light or dark theme per placement, so they sit properly on whatever wallpaper you use.
What you need
- An iPhone running iOS 17 or later
- Data in Apple Health — an Apple Watch, or another device writing to Health, is strongly recommended
- For blood pressure: a compatible cuff, such as an Omron, that syncs to Health
Pricing
Biomon · $3.00 / month
Recovery, battery, stress, sleep debt and regularity, hydration, vitals and cardiovascular signal. Everything above.
Biomon Plus · $9.99 / month
Everything in Biomon, plus tracking built for specific conditions — the 3-step FODMAP diet for IBS, gout triggers and blood pressure — and every module added later.
First month free on either. Modules are switched on only if they apply to you; anything off is hidden from your dashboard and isn't computed at all. Turning one off never deletes anything you have logged.
Cancel any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancelling before the month ends costs nothing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and renews monthly unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.

Biomon is a general wellness app. It is not a medical device, nothing it shows is a diagnosis, and none of it replaces professional medical advice. Talk to a doctor about anything that concerns you, and about any reading you plan to act on.
